Re: BA pilots to strike, 9-10 27 September.

I assume this is why BA’s BWI-LHR flight last night and LHR-BWI flight today are cancelled. Any idea why BA switched from a 787 to a 777 on the route a couple weeks ago? I presume it’s to do with the ongoing 787 issues during the high season. Interesting to see the use of G-VIIP which is not even a...

In my home market of YVR, except for the summer A380s, BA offers us decrepit 'Spice Girls' era 747-400s, compared to ACs 787-9s on the same route. Last one I took from YVR-LHR in 2015, G-BNLP, was days from the scapper and it's ancient First product was being sold to CW passengers. Certainly doesn'...

OEB is surely the next QF 747 to go into retirement, it's amazing to think they've kept her around longer than they did with OJT (a newer and refurbished aircraft retired only yesterday). Why? Two other things to note: 1. One should always buy travel insurance, especially when booking with a non-IATA operator. 2. Why not configure the existing B763 in a Y273 configuration? (It’s limited to 276 passengers). That could be a LEVEL standby plane until it’s time for the next heavy check in 20...
