Re: Lufthansa to launch buy on board for long haul

Various airlines have tried this over the years and it has always gone badly. It just cheapens the whole experience. And can they really raise enough $$$ to make it worthwhile?

Terrible idea.

Re: Updated: Reuters: Airbus launches A350 freighter

IMO there is reasonable doubt till a sufficient number of contracts are signed. As mentioned above, it is probable that there are order targets that must be hit before they are authorized to move beyond initial R&D and into early production and test. Given this aircraft will require a significa...

I really don't get all this quibbling about LOI vs MOU vs order and when is a launch not a launch?

Does anyone seriously doubt that the A350F will fly? And, when it does, isn't that a GOOD THING for aviation enthusiasts?

Re: Dubai Air Show 2021 - Airbus Orders and General Discussion Thread

Fantastic news about the the A350F but I'm almost as happy to see the order for 4 A330neos. ALC seem to think the A330 has a future. The A330neo order is almost certainly not speculative and they probably already have a customer signed to lease them. You may well be right. But ALC have placed 10 an...
