Re: Why long haul planes sit for a long time on ground...?

JAL keeps their 787-9 on the ground in BOS for about 20 hours.
I've assumed this is about both hitting departure and arrival banks at NRT, and also crew rest in BOS so they can fly the plane back.
Any actual insight into that one would be welcome

Re: Another DL PR issue. This time FOX Sports host and family not allowed to travel

Funny thing is that there are probably 1000 kids flying everyday who have lice. It often takes a while to detect, since they're harmless and like to hide down near the scalp. They are highly contagious, gross, and a pain in the butt. However, they aren't dangerous. The most effective treatment is a ...

When I flew Concorde I was surprised that the seats were Economy-sized, then surprised again at how comfortable they were. It left me wondering what all Econ seats couldn't be that comfortable. I recently flew JAL in premium economy and it reminded me of the Concorde seats. So I agree that's the rig...

Not long ago I switched allegiance from Star to OneWorld and during the transition had club memberships with AA, UA, and Amex Centurion. This thread bring to mind the Upton Sinclair quote “It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it.”

Ask folks whose job involves burning tons of Jet-A daily if that's a problem, and the answer that comes back is pretty predictable.
