The only way I see for a significantly longer landing gear on the 737 is to remove it from inside the wing and move it to some sort of pod C-17-style, without otherwise changing the wing, and changing the central structure as little as possible. If your only issue is weather, can't you improvise ? Look at some app or website for rough weather estimates (something professional you can subscribe to quickly if you don't have that backup already), add alternates, tanker some fuel, and off you go ?

In Paris we have homeless people despite a safety net. Not as many as I saw in San Francisco, but still. What I noticed in SF is that many people were walking while being clearly stoned. I'm not even sure they were all homeless. Here in France they're more commonly drunk.

I don't think forcing people to have a vaccine is a crime (as long as it is thoroughly tested), however this isn't what's happening anyway. People are free to not take the vaccine, there are consequences for their job, that's all.

Even if you go to fully "green" fuels, it makes sense to improve efficiency as much as possible, because these green fuels will cost more money than current jet fuel, probably double current prices, even at large scale.

No, but helicopters are VTOL aircraft. The vehicles we're talking about have several rotors, sometimes wings, sometimes their rotors can become props, none are traditional helicopters. And with electric propulsion, of course. It begs the question, though, why not just convert a traditional helicopte...

EV compete with ICE cars whereas computers competed with what, pen and paper ? Electric typewriter ? There is no comparison really.
