In the USA, the First Class passengers tend to all be seated to watch the parade of plebs passing headed for the Main Cabin.
British Imperial Airways!!!
IAG is building an airline Empire and I love it!!
I love the Dutch Monarchy! Queen Maxima is stunning and I saw them last year when they came to Toronto to promote business. Lovely couple, and you can just see the love in their eyes. And he can fly! <img src="http://cdn-www.airliners.net/aviation-forums/graphics/smilies/smile.gif" width="15" ...Jump to post
I don't need a billboard to tell me to boycott Qatar, <acronym title="Emirates (United Arab Emirates)">EK</acronym> and so on... watch the news, am aware of workers conditions, women's rights and gay rights (or the lack there of). Americans are so lucky to be able to travel so cheap on domestic flights. In Canada we get skinned. The taxes alone usually are double the price of the fare, which makes these types of day trips nothing but a pipe dream. What a great way to spend the day!! <img src="http://cdn-www.airliners.ne...Jump to post
I always have my seatbelt fastened and tight at that. when I was a teen, I was travelling on a KLM 747 from N America to Amsterdam. Quiet night flight, smooth as could be and then BAM! the whole plane hit some kind of pocket and went down and slam. Needless to say, it was chaotic and scary. lights c...Jump to post
Sorry to trouble you, but for those familiar, are there any places in the airport to buy good, classic pecans?
candied, or chocolate covered or such?
my friend is connecting through the airport, and being the glutton I am, that's the first thing that came to mind :P

You're spoiled, but at those prices, I would expect a lot too. The airport is too much. The gold and bling, is too much. Must say, the Etihad suite on the A330 looked lovely and comfortable. Hope you had a great trip though! <img src="http://cdn-www.airliners.net/aviation-forums/graphics/smili...Jump to post

Looking out the window is the most enjoyable part of flying, for me personally.
could care less about anything else really, so long as I have a good view outside.
With these seats, unless you have a "go go gadget neck" to deploy, you won't be seeing much of anything...

Are you seriously complaining about Australian winters? LOL
Try living in Canada for a year :P
Oh dear.. Coldest was -36C with a windchill well into the -40s. not once or twice either. Hottest would be around 41C in Southern Europe. Favourite temperature (if on vacation) is around 32C with quite a lot of humidity (love humidity!!) Not a fan of winters. but hey, I live in Canada, so I suck it ...Jump to post

Am I the only one tha doesn't like it when huge planes fly empty?
I mean, with the environment and all.
So many huge planes flying half empty or worse isn't exactly being environmentally sensitive.
Just my thought. i'm sure you all have better ones..
I lost interest in all this mess long ago.
Europe is a disaster. soon it'll cease to exist as many of us remember..
In my humble opinion, the most gorgeous plane flying today. Simply stunning. So sad KLM hasn't ordered a few 748s yet... Greetings from Toronto! We've all been waiting for this weekend's festivities all year, but mother nature had other plans. This will be roughly my 20th Pride, and first time ever has there been a forecast as such. 16C, 50-70mm of rain and 50-70km/hr winds. sort of like mid October. Needless to say, ...Jump to post

I still don't understand what was so horrible about the World Tails. Seems to me people feel cool by knocking them. So I'm in Toronto. Had to walk to work today at 7am. 3 blocks. Thought I was having a stroke! Coldest I've felt in a very long time. Anybody else suffering out there?
