I'm a 'grandfathered' user and don't visit here daily as I used to...came back to site yesterday after about a month or two away...had this link showing that I'd not seen before that said "7 new messages" or similar...clicked on it and saw what appeared to be Private Msg's from 2006-2008 in a pop-up...

Very interesting report! I think I have been on train through your town once...I've visited Sweden four times...last in 2004...spent 3 wks in Katrineholm for my Aunt's funeral and such.

ok, so exactly why is using this site now taking anywhere from 80%-100% of my CPU?
Page loads seem to take foooooooooooreeeeeeveeeeeeer, and average about 3-5 seconds now where they were almost instant before...

And it's JUST this site, as all my other favorite sites work just fine.

Not sure if this is related, but I just had need to try Advanced Search function, and I was unable to get it to work at all! I only rarely look at the pix here, as I tend to be a non-av forumite mostly, but wanted to find some very old pix of either <acronym title="Tampa - International (TPA / KTPA)...

I've been seeing this work sporadically but mostly not in the last two months or so...it's quite frustrating and time consuming to locate where I was in a thread without it.
