Its global from what I understand. If you look at all the tickets sales SQ gets out of each port, WLG is the highest where SQ doesnt currently serve. Same with EK. So SQ sells more tickets ex-WLG than it does from the likes of bigger *A hubs and cities like ORD, YYZ, and ARN, etc? And EK gets more ...

Was it just the landing gear that OQE and OQF needed to receive? Surely there must be more to it like a heavy check due or something similar because the other A380s that have returned to the fleet have had their landing gear replaced since coming out of the desert.

Also , don't think Aucklanders appreciate how much people WLG south hate transitting AKL. Transit via same terminal at SYD/MEL is a way better experience than the shambles AKL offers. I see watching aircraft movements out of Sydney tonight (9pm before/after) that aircraft are using 16 L/R for takeoffs while runway 7 is being used for landings.

Would that just be due to winds being light that they can do that or just to keep aircraft flowing?

ZK-NZN came in from JFK this morning and was due to operate NZ2 tonight heading back there but the flight was cancelled. Is there an issue with this aircraft or another reason for the cancellation?
