Hi all, I have searched through this and other forums and to no avail. I am trying to find out runway directions for a few airports in the Pacific and wanted to know if anyone has such a list of info for airports around the world as well as the Pacific. Something online would be great! I think I mig...Jump to post
Sounds very strange given it's Boeing. I have sold to Boeing on a couple of occasions and they paid upfront to get the images quickly for their publication. I would definitely send them another email. As stated above, your account may have slipped through the cracks. Did you send them an invoice or ...Jump to post
Jungle King, I never saw that image when it was first posted, and I must say, a fantastic shot! My mind thought about how difficult it must have been to get it right. So many things had to happen. Well done! Like Roel, I like to go out to try to get a specific shot, but sometimes when you go out to ...Jump to post
I have emailed Misha Popov - ex Adelaide spotter - as his was used on the site too.
Thanks always for the heads up everyone!

Hi all, Thank you to all the photographers out there who have recently voted my image as "Photographers Choice". Hi all, I firstly would like to thank the screening crew and Johan of course for reconsidering the image for addition to the database. It's great to see that forums can still have constructive comments and solutions can still be made. I'm not saying that by coming into the forum to argue my rejectio...Jump to post
Matt, I don't blame anyone, nor did I think I was alone. I just wish that A.net could accept more creative images. After all, look at the images which get the views. Hi all, I just wanted to share a recent rejection with you. The rejection of course was for "badmotiv", (a rejection I'm sure most of you have received) but I find it sad that there isn't much room for creativity on this site. Photography in it's essence is about creativity, and it seems (on here) s...Jump to post

HI, I used to own the D30 and took many a long exposure with it, although I don't remember ever taking astrophotography with it. I have since tried astrophotography with my new 20D and have been happy, but not impressed with the performance. I think it's an owner/operator problem rather than equipme...Jump to post
Hi all, I'm not one to jump up and down about the decisions of the screeners, however it can become very disheartening when an image is rejected for "badmotiv". Even worse is when you see a similar shot added to the database a couple of days later. I'd say that about 80-90% of my rejected shots are ...Jump to post

O/T Johan, You have come up with some cracker responses of late, including the one about the logo submission... ie: [quote] <i> I simply wanted the best design and whether he's an active member or not or eats children for breakfast is simply not relevant. I like the new Logo, and think it makes a welcome change to the site. The whole design contest echo's the aviation industry and seems very ironic.... <i><b>An airline looks at new aircraft and sizes up all the good and bad points of each submission... Thanks again for the comments. I was really surprised at the lack of noise. Not nearly as loud as a 727!!
