The Antonov 72/74 works fine in Africa, doubt any Canadian company would buy in.

Apart from Västerås which will close in 2022 if I'm not mistaken, the future of Ängelholm has been questioned. It is the only private major airport in Sweden and it is currently bleeding a lot of money. Skavsta is also private-owned, around 90% by Vinci and 10% by Nyköping. Mostly private then. Äng...

The announcement is a few days old, but not mentioned yet. SAS are ceasing commercial service to Kiruna. The municipality is now looking to secure essential air service in the 40-seat segment. This leaves ARN-UME and ARN-LLA as the only remaining SAS routes in Sweden. Source: https://www.svt.se/nyh...

More bad news for ARN. After discontinuing OTP-ARN until the beginning of the summer season, Tarom has now decided to cut the line in summer as well. Star Alliance would have a good hold of eastern Europe (at least the EU part), imagine: Aegean, Adria, Austrian, Croatian, LOT and TAROM. As well as Turkish who serve many destinations in Balkan. Only CSA would be left for SkyTeam.
