Re: United 10 - Positioning Flight ?

It’s bookable and Non revs are already trying to get on it so it won’t be that empty.

I once flew on an empty UA 777 between LHR-BRU when they were using that route to sit on the slot and it was a great experience not creepy at all

No, if I remember correctly it was LIS that got that honor.

Re: City of Denver threatens to pull Ferrovial-led contract to redevelop DEN terminal

This so called great hall is such a waste no one wanted it but the airport ceo and city. Now it looks like it will be in development hell for the foreseeable future.

It’s sad to think they could have focused on what the airport really needs. (More gates and a bigger international arrivals hall)

Re: Woman Smashes Laptop on Boyfriend’s Head After He Allegedly Looks at Another Woman on American Airlines Flight

Interesting conclusion by the witness in the article, who reports she wished the airline would have given free alcohol to everybody to make up for the delayed departure. Let us see. Heated situation, nerves breaking loose... Let us add a bit of liquor on top of that... :banghead: Any incident...

Re: Passenger opens exit door

It would happen a lot less if the passenger were charged the cost of the delay, but that doesn't seem to happen often if at all. I think most of these people have no clue on the consequences. That would not be any different for any fines associated with the act, unless perhaps the door sign explici...

Re: KLM calls for people to fly less

Reminds me when United used to print huge one page ads in their Hemispheres magazine for “Go To Meeting” - “why deal with the hassle of air travel when you can go anywhere from the comfort of your home” or something like that. Asinine Really. I’ll have to dig out one of my older copies to grab a sna...

-Cool seeing the 787 in the new livery.
-interesting seeing the “old” Business Class seat upholstered in leather to match the economy seats.

I heard on twitter that someone found it on a 787 recently, but sadly don't have the link, I know they had previously been removing it, but this was the first sign that they may be reversing that decision. However I have seen any official word of this. Update: I tracked down the post it doesn't men...

Re: Russian Plane "Disappears from Radar"

Well, Russian Air Force planes usually have to take a detour over the Caspian Sea towards Iran and via Iraq to Latakia. So that may explain the fuel stop. It must be a very rough comparison as mother Theresa probably never flew on an Air Force plane into a war zone where the nation of the Air Force...
