The 200s and 300s both flew transatlantic. Flown on both to HEL numerous times. Although 90% of the time it was the 300. Miss Pan Am. And as far as cabin..I honestly don’t recall any difference. Except like somebody mentioned maybe the lavs.

Does anybody have info on FI? Parents have a flight from PDX to HEL next month. According to their website they indicate that flights to PDX will operate in June. I kinda doubt it though.

Im pretty sure that if your flight is cancelled, you are entitled to full refund. Regardless of booking class.At least in the EU.

It seems airlines are holding off on cancelling flights. Most likely reason, they are wanting people to rebook or cancel on their own so they don’t have to refund monies paid. I have a SK flight to AMS on April 11. Still shows as operating but I doubt it.

Well i don’t know too much about their pricing in general. But have you noticed this frequently or are you basing it off this one time. Because if that’s the case, it doesn’t really give you a good big picture. This one flight on that day may be full and all that’s left are the more expensive bucket...

If i am not mistaken, BA also charges for J class seat assignment if you do not have higher status with them. BA service is not what it used to be.

Ive ordered veggie meals before and they seem to usually be pretty bad. If UA is like DL, im sure they offer a vegetarian pasta or something similiar normally as an option with the normal service.

Im sure they can be as good as any airline. It depends on the crew. But honestly..i would spend 60-80 bucks more on a euro/asian/any other than the US2 (UA AA) DL though.. Ive had many positive experiences on them. But i would still Fly VS over DL if i had the choice.

Eh they arent the best as far as hard product but the employees are what makes them stand out. They are good for the short west coast hops but i would avoid them on anything longer than 3hrs.

AS is a niche carrier compared to the majors. It’s a no frills airline but the staff have that PNW charm and friendliness. I can see how they are at the top.

Nothing new here folks. Just got an email from Alaska offering $34 one way fares. Airlines do this to fill up inventory. Do not for a second think that there are many of these cheap seats available on each flight.

No Finland Is not part of Scandinavia however it is part of the Nordic region. With AYs epanditure into the US as of late, SEA would not be a bad option.
