So here's a question,
Is there any website or anyone here, who has a comprehensive list of the tails that were applied to aircraft?
I'm thinking of starting a Gemini collection of world tails.
I see a LY flying TLV - DTW today, LY23. 789. Repatriation?? Or med supplies. I know we're hurting here in SE Michigan..Jump to post
Tech stop to swap crew befroe they continue onto China.
Really? Did I miss something or is this some kind of new requirement for China flights?.. And is TSE an odd choice for a crew swap? I mean.. I don't know.. Is it? Lol it seems like it is.
Just noticed LOT has been sending a 787 to TSE (NUR- SULTAN) this week a couple of times from WAW... Flight number is LO7921. I'm thinking these might be cargo flights considering its the newest capital of Kazakhstan and I'm guessing there isn't a huge need for any repatriation between the two count...Jump to post
Lol right!! It was a random click as well... I expected it to be some kind of T tail or Biz jet but then I saw the IL62... Watched it on FR24 and it indeed landed at IKA... So now the fun part is speculating why a Belarusian freighter is operating between Bordeaux and Tehran... My logical and only i...Jump to post
Hey guys! Just noticed a DL A350 leaving Detroit for Dublin, flight number 8834. I'm assuming that's a Covid rescue flight?Jump to post
Hi guys, there's a lot of comments above and I haven't got the time to trawl thru them all, however could someone explain to me why there are still departures showing from LHR to various points in the USA tomorrow. Maybe I misunderstood but I thought there was no travel permitted currently between E...Jump to post
Hi guys, I was watching a video on YouTube regarding aircraft movements conning into and out of Munich for the Munich Security Conference 2020. The poster had some great rare government jets captured, however one that caught my eye was a US Navy metroliner reg: 910502. The poster had all movements l...Jump to post
Such a shame....I remember the Jersey European days at BHX. loved seeing the Shorts 360 in the early 00's flying to NQY. If they were to fall into administration what are we looking at in terms of replacing them? They have a large network and operate a lot of unique routes from the region's that a l...Jump to post
Quick question.. Why and "how" did AC just ferry a MAX from Marana to Windsor? I'm not an expert on anything MAX so excuse the naivety... Thx How would be easy, by asking for and receiving permission from the Canadian regulators. In the recent past permission has been granted so that Air ...Jump to post

As mentioned above: this is not originally an Airbus aircraft. The design and build was initiated by Bombardier. When airbus took over the CSeries program it was allocated an Airbus designation... The A220. So although it is an Airbus it is by name only, the "Raccoon" mask is not part of t...Jump to post
Can someone list all the airlines part of the group.
Its true, some airlines appear to throw darts at a map, or are obviously poorly run... Each of us could name an airline that has failed due to poor management.. What appears to be the biggest stumbling block a lot of newer or financially unstable airlines have? They grow to fast too quick or in some...Jump to post
More than you think. Come and find out why Detroit and Michigan are such amazing places. Sure every major urban area has their problems but for some reason people like to focus on that more when the conversation is about Detroit. I love my city and I love my state. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q...Jump to post
Lol, ok, as a Detroiter I don't know what's worse to listen to... People's reactions to the horror show that is someone suggesting DTW could do more to attract other airlines, or, and in my opinion, way worse, people stereotyping Detroit as a dumpster fire of a city to go to... And that is what I ch...Jump to post
Can someone with better knowledge provide an up to date list of all Australasian flying from the USA/canada? Like, routes and carriers
Im behind with some of the additions etc.

Local news confirming 2 crew are dead... :( Reload the Toledo link above, it'll confirm. I believe the Convair is still used by a couple of local Michigan/Midwest adhoc carriers. I'm not in a position to check which ones currently but I know we have a number of these carriers who operate out of the ...Jump to post
My apartment is covered with PanAm stuff, including a slice of a 707 fuselage with a window intact! I will read anything that anyone has anything to do with PanAm. She may be gone for a long time, she may have even really suffered and passengers really felt she wasn’t what she used to be. But PanAm...Jump to post
ABZ to IAH in..... I wanna say 2007/8 ... Was provided by a British regional in Scotland who mostly served regional oil route traffic in the north sea area. I'm interested in this discussion too. For one, i'm curious why I see various UPS and occasionally FEDEX planes routing thru non hubs... For example a UPS 767 flying DTW to ORD or GRR to MSP. Those are just examples to illustrate my point but ive seen similar on FR24 and other tracking sites. Usuall...Jump to post
Ok guys, I have a couple of things ive been thinking of lately regarding skytrax and airline reviews.. I'm actually a little surprised. Twice a week on a 787 to JFK isn't exactly too taxing. I would assume that the gas industry in Azerbaijan would've helped as well as the fact that the Azeri diaspora in the USA has large pockets in Jersey and NY. Granted twice a week isn't very attractive for busines...Jump to post
I believe they were ordered by IC due to the state of Indian runways at the time. I'm not sure if it had anything to do with increased weight but i'm fairly sure it was to do with the runway conditions. Then the merger with AI happened and they became the red headed step child. This is from my memor...Jump to post
Hi guys, Thought this was an interesting catch. Theres a Kalitta 742 currently En-route from AMS to JFK. I looked it up on Fr24 and the frame appears to have been taken out of storage at the company facility in Oscoda and performed a few patterns over northern Michigan before entering service. Its s...Jump to post

Hi guys Not wishing to turn this into a pure BHX speculation thread but I am a little concerned what is happening to an airport that seemed to be on an upswing. Ok, not Manchester like, but still an upswing. TS... why?... with their lower costs I never expected to see a day when BHX would not have a...Jump to post
Look how beautiful those 742's look in that picture above. I have fond memories as a boy being taken to watch planes at BHX and LHR and thus the Landor scheme will forever hold that nostalgic place in my heart. I often flew in a Landor liveried 757 to JFK/YYZ from BHX and on occasion the 767 during ...Jump to post
I'm not familiar with their plans. I'm sure the are most likely swapping 767 eqpt for these 787 , however do they plan to upgrade their product on board with a full premium economy / business class product to compete with AC or are they more LCC ? Again, I'm not familiar with their onboard offerings...Jump to post
I'm not going to derail this topic but I would just like to ask if this is the way that AF runs its fleets out of CDG and ORY also.Jump to post
I want to just throw something out there... something I feel actually dumb for asking, however someone asked it on the Twitter feed of the video... Could there be any possibility the flight controls are able to be accessed or.... (sigh)... Hacked..... by some person or agency for nefarious purposes....Jump to post
About 2013/14 they also operated MIA - LHR. Not sure on what acft tho. I find it interesting the amount of routes that were once operated by large aircraft but now no longer exist... Someone asked earlier if its odd that both UA and AA fly to ORD from Erie, both airlines also fly to FNT , Michigan from ORD which I find weird also due to that city being economically depressed and only 1.5hrs at most from DTW. I live near FNT and they both have a handful of flights each day. I'm s...Jump to post
I'm sure someone with better DL knowledge can add more to my comment but in recent history DL also had flights to Cape Town and I also believe they either flew or had the rights to fly to Cape Verde and Monrovia in Liberia. I was driving south on M24 today and saw a Chinook fly over a little way ahead of me heading North / Northwest at a low altitude.
