I forgot about that - thank you for reminding us. I forgot about that as well. Yes, they are still in service between WLS and FUT. (And you took the pic from AirCalin's website !). No worries! Indeed, you are correct - it is clearly a mistake in the article.

Cheers,

Indeed; it is semi-correct in that Air Vanuatu flies the route with the ATR 42, but Aircalin uses the A320

Air Calin have the twin otter that flies the WLS - FUT route.

For me the most exotic so far has probably been Rodrigues Island (RRG), 600km east of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean. RRG is indeed exotic - it has that end of the world feel! One of the most beautiful islands in the world... For me, the most exotic would be Hihifo Airport on Wallis (WLS). Very smal...

I vividly remember as a 7 year old we flew MK from LHR to MRU and were put in the 'smoking' section (though my parents didn't smoke). It was a terrible 12 hours. I remember as late as 2001 smoking carriages on UK trains, which inevitably meant all carriages smelt of smoke. I too cannot believe smoki...

The catchment areas of the big metropolitan airports like MAN and BHX now benefit from passengers who are more aware of other options, and readily book them.
