I'm as pro-Indian as any other person of Indian descent; but, I agree with edealinfo, India only shot at pine trees and didn't destroy any JEM camps. The current government was able to spin it as a success, but only India incurred losses.

The biggest metropolitan areas in the top 20 they don’t serve are PHL, ATL, PHX, MSP, SAN and TPA. Only think the first two have any chance of starting in the next couple of years.

I think we will only see ATL, PHL, and DTW in the near future. But EK seems to be consolidating in the US, which is a shame. The recent down-gauging of EWR points to less expansion in the US. Places like PHX, RDU, CLT, and AUS are at least five or more years away.

Surprised no one has mentioned EK. It’s EK’s largest unserved MSA in the US. Apparently the QR flight doesn’t have great connections to India due to the timing, so maybe EK could capture that market.

Perhaps we could see EK. I know everyone thinks QR would be the first ME airline to the airport but QR and AA don’t get along so maybe EK will pounce. When you look at the biggest MSAs that EK doesn’t serve, CLT comes 11th, which is not ideal but makes it possible.

I think it all depends on bilateral. For East Asia, EK is restricted in China, Japan, and South Korea.
