Airplanes are flying over the city almost always. It is class B airspace above like 3500ft. It's not uncommon to depart PDK and be routed "over the top." they'll send planes directly over the city and then over hartsfi...Jump to post
I heard the crash this morning. I didnt see the plane go down, but I could see the smoke from my balcony. It's very sad, my heart goes out to all the families. it really depends on where you are. at busy airports like atlanta, the tower gets pissed when we push them out early. i guess because everything is perfectly timed. later in the evening, we'll send them out a few mins early sometime. here at delta, we never close the gate before 10 mins prior to dep...Jump to post
clickhappy, if the shots look fine on my monitor and are actually too dark... that would mean that my monitor is set too bright, and i made the pictures too dark to make up for that. so if the pics are dark, my monitor needs to be darkened. Jump to post

Went over to E concourse tonight to see what was going on. Delta bought Chic-fil-a for the first class cabins, it seems. Any leftovers went to the employees. It's funny, but very sad. It's my understanding that the seat pitch, legroom, and all that good stuff is exactly the same as it was before. I did sit in the seats, they're not too bad. Coach is definitely an improvement, I think. However, first class looks and feels less inviting. I'm not sure about long-term, but for the br...Jump to post

Saw it today. First plane with the new interior is an MD-88, which will start flying passengers tomorrow. Both cabins are leather. I would say it's definitely an improvement in coach class. The already poor first class cabin is now much worse. I will post pi...Jump to post

Looks like they have already started installing it. It seems there are a lot of airline employees here in the forums. I was just wondering if any of you know of good websites/etc that published interline discounts. I know there must be tons of hotels and other attractions that offer discounts for airline employees. -Hank <img src="/discussions/...Jump to post

I'm surprised that so many photographers are so supportive of filling in the CN. I think it's totally ridiculous. As a little side note... always take that "filtered" out of the file name. That automatically tells the screeners that you put it through NeatImage and they're going to pay extra attention to the grass and pavement being blurry, as mentioned above.Jump to post
