The ramp is dangerous, it only takes a second of not paying attention to find yourself in a bad situation. This is why I can't stand seeing people goof off on the ramp, especially fools that dance around when an aircraft is being marshalled in or pushing back.

In this case, being UA specific, pilots would need 16hrs rest. That rest begins once they finish the debrief 30 minutes after blocking in. The UA pilot CBA requires 9 hours behind the door.
