What is it about the A-380, L-1011, etc that they don't need this. This is interesting. L-1011s, DC-10s/MD-11s,Douglas T-tails and A-380s do not have packs directly under the center fuel tank. Some are in the nose (Widebody tri-jets), some in the tail (Douglas T-tails) and in the wing leading edges...
