Just because the Mel says it’s legal doesn’t mean you should fly it until then, especially when the plane is doing turns out of mx hub. The amount of mels I’ve seen while jumpseating have been impressive

They are the cockroach of the industry. I know a few pilots that couldn’t get hired anywhere else and ended up there.

Flew out of t3 last night and now with everything consolidated there, the drop off and baggage claim were a zoo. Security has been increased to 10 lanes and while I didn’t go over to north, very post security was the same. However downstairs was so busy and that was at 2200

I understand the need as Gateway gets busier to possibly to address the class change. However, ops at Falcon and especially Chandler would be impacted in a negative way I would suppose. United ending Guam ATR/Cape Air

As of May 31st United will end the Guam partnership with Cape Air. Cape Air operated their only turboprop operation between Guam and both Saipan and Rota.

Saipan will transition to mainline, Rota will be discontinued.

So long ATRs, unless they can find a home stateside under Cape Air umbrella

I'm paying my dues dumping divers on a fox contract and there are many ways to get there besides instructing, it's just something you have to work for. The regionals did this to themselves, why can you go to Asia and fly the same aircraft and make 3-4 times as much?

Boutique Air seems to be running a better schedule and a better completion rate than Great Lakes, however people I've spoken with like the aircraft and the completion rate but dislike the lack of codeshare with United and are now driving to PHX
