The new Routemaster will cost around £300,000 and is a diesel hybrid sort of thing. It has a 4.5 litre engine which charges a big battery that powers an electric motor. It supposedly does 10mpg which is about double that of a regular bus.

I've got a Nokia but I keep forgetting which number it is. I can call people and text people and tell the time. It's good for that and it stays charged for a week. Plus if I drop it it wont smash and it's probably worth £5.

I doubt it will be ready on time. Everything in this country takes at least a year to be built and there are always things that break and go wrong. I'm thinking of T5 and those pod things that run to T5.

Loved the photos and report. When I get some time off I'm thinking of heading up to the Shetlands or Orkney's to look around and fly on the Islander. I've decided I like these small propeller planes as you get a real sense of flying and a great view of the scenery below.

Favours like a taxi service to Swindon for a night out, £20. I went over today and have decided the A10 thunderbolt thing is the best plane ever and its display is awesome. Oh and saw an Antonov 124 do some fly pasts and then land at Brize Norton. Gate 14A is the place to be.
