The partnership seems OK. LOT is shut out of the JV that AC has with UA and LH group. However, AC and LO have decent codeshares on either end. This summer AC will have a daily 767 on YYZ-WAW. LO will fly 9x weekly WAW-YYZ on the 787-8 (probable upgauge to one of the -9's coming online in the spring)...

All this backhanded dealing given the government bailout sickens me. The airline needs to be sold or shut down. These shady, back alley negotiations and power plays are to the detriment of what remains of Air Berlin, its passengers and employees, as well as European Consumers. Truly scandalous.

They seem like a really well run airline. I wish I lived where they flew so I could get a sense of what they're about from a consumer standpoint Flew for the first time with Wizz back in June.
