I noticed a few different domestic/regional widebody flights outside of hub-hub runs like LAS etc. for September...how reliable is that schedule at this point? What are some regional widebody routes penciled in so far?

Ethiopian started flights to Houston today. Looking at bookings for the next few weeks, flight out of Houston is almost or completely sold out. Yields are what counts, not full cabins. I predict that Ethiopian will cut Houston inside 2 years, they would have been better selecting BOS. Lol... this g...

There simply no comparison to bankruptcy-era UA. None. The current company is spending orders of magnitude more in terms of aircraft retrofits and paint jobs... not to mention preventive maintenance and addressing deferred items. The IPTE program is a rollout UA is specifically trying not to repeat...

Has such an arrangement occurred in the past? Anyone know? Seems rather efficient to me. SIN-IAH is longer than SIN-EWR by about 400 miles ... seems unlikely ... is IAH really the Mecca of oil industry these days? I'll hold my speculation for a few more days - hoping there is really an announcement...

Well - IAH-PTY is a political route due to China's investment in the region. I've flown it and going down it was about half full - coming back was about 80% full. Of course that isn't indicative of anything. Seeing as that is flown on Thursdays and Sundays to PTY...I could see them adding a tag to B...

Just flew in on the redeye 777 in first on United from SFO to IAH on Monday. We departed gate 82 and arrived C7 - duel bridges at both ends. The only difference was that the boarding wasn't split between classes - but which aisle you are seated on.

Pretty sure DL is the only US3 carrier at JNB, LOS, DSS, and ACC. Yeah, and what about AA? Zero. DL's Asia presence is laughable even compared to AA. Skyteam has a larger presense than OW and arguably Star in Asia Larger presence then Star? How? Star has Air China. ANA, Singapore, Asiana, Shenzen, ...

Where were all their planes scattered? I know United has a couple at LAX, a couple at IAH, and the rest at HOU. What does the used 738 market look like right now? And one poster asked why accept planes they can't fly? The 737 Max isn't grounded forever...

From IAH, UA flies to SYD, 7 South American Cities, 10 Caribbean cities, 10 Central American Cities, 21 Mexican Cities, and 5 European cities, and they have partners to AUK, PEK, NRT, IST, and TPE. To Canada they fly YVR, YCC, YYZ, YEG, and partner with AC to YYZ, YYC (WS also flies here), and YUL....

The only thing is, the aircraft had not entered the cell at the moment of the crash yet. Listening to the ATC, I stand corrected that it could have been to avoid the cell...but there was no weather at the location of impact at time of impact
