Cubana has not flown any regularly scheduled international trips since March. One of the (if not the) last flights was a HAV-EZE-HAV rotation. CU-T1254 need...

There is no pressure to partner so there is no must but it makes sense, as they can offer a lot of connecting flights via SU which are beneficial.

Maybe this is just another outlet to get a relatively well maintained 747 to Iran?
Like it was done before via Armenia where they put random destinations into the flight plan and suddenly had to divert to an Iranian city. 24 later the plane will be already repainted.

Interesting. Will it be a 5th freedom like their KWI-DOH flight? DMM will be just a tag on from BAH with no 5th freedom flights between BAH and DMM. This is just done to make the DMM bound travellers the immigration easier. The one at the bridge can be a pain But it will be fun to be on a 5 min 777...

It’s harder and harder for the smaller traditional charter outlets as the big players, mostly EW, these days took over many routes which AB served for years. And EW can offer the tour operators a lot cheaper bulk fares than e.g. ST. I remember the days when there was the following line up at SCN on ...

I was surprised Eurowings didn't jump into Berlin-SCN, but then I imagine the market is too small to sustain multiple daily flights. It is also interesting EW's relation with airports near the border. A few years ago I flew MST-SXF on Germanwings but now it is closed. EW also operated NRN-MUC for a...

Actually to give some more insight: some years ago Luxair flew both LUX-SCN-HAM and LUX-SCN-TXL as a milk run with mostly Q400. They also had a E135/145 based in SCN for flights to MUC but when their ERJ fleet got phased out they stopped flying that route. There was also a through flight SCN-LUX-LCY...

It will not end. SCN (my home airport) is just upgrading the runway and therefor the flight is direct for 4 weeks. Also the passenger share is around 50-50 for LUX and SCN. And it’s so comfy that it’s worth the premium. Especially for commuters with limited time

A3 is happy enough to feed LH and other star alliance partners through central Europe. Especially the FRA flight has always a lot of US connections on it.
