Re: Oregon Aviation Thread - 2021

For those who have gone through flight training in Oregon, I would say up to ATP, where did you train through? I currently have PPL 100+ hours, some time with instrument training but need to complete that. I've heard Hillsboro Aviation is good but extremely busy and gas prices are high, I have also...

No, these will be just pax aircraft in full freighter.

Copy paste from the article,

It will therefore offer full freight services from Liège Airport, in parallel with its passenger flights from Charleroi.

Booking on Condor this summer?

I'm searching for a affordable return ticket from PDX-AMS for this June/July. I usually fly DL, even it's a bit more expensive, I prefer the non stop flight. This year the prices have been very high (around $1800, usually 1200-1300 in high season) so I'm looking for a 1 stop flight. Condor comes up ...

On a short flight for business just water of juice, on the way home sometimes a glass (but usually a plastic cup, lol) of wine. I flew them last September from EWR-CPH and CPH-ORD both in Y. You only get 1 soda for free with the meal, if you want more you also have to pay. That is something that you get for free at some LCC's!!

Besides that the flight was good and I would fly them again.

I had it every time departing AMS on DL, but not when flying KL. So I thought that it was done only when flying on a US airline, until I departed from CPH on SK last month where they questioned me. By now I know all their questions since they're always the same!

Last year I was at LAX after a vacation with my girlfriend, she flew back home with AS and I flew with KL on a business trip to AMS. I try to be careful with using hidden city as it is prohibited by the airlines. I just use it a handful of times each year spread across different carriers. While it can be risky, the savings are quite substantial, so worth it. A few weeks ago I needed to book a last minute LAX-EWR ticket . While t...

Thanks a lot for the replies! I don't really care about the 1 hour intra Europe flight since it's so short, I'm more concerned about the 5ish hour flight from my hometown to EWR on UA!

I tried to bid for an upgrade but it starts at $360 instead of the advertised $155, so no thanks.

Long time lurker, 1st post!
