I like it, its simple yet elegant, the wavy gold line makes a nice break between the lower and upper fuselage and I like how the grey follows the gold line.

of course....no different to having the odd drink on terra firma!
As we usually travel up front, a nice glass of champagne to start with, then a wine or two with a meal and perhaps a nice scotch to follow.
I have learned the hard way though to not drink in excess whilst traveling by air!!!

We generally book our flights 6-8 months ahead if we can, I've found that way we tend to get good pricing. We're flying to Australia in 4 weeks with V Australia in their International Business class, I booked this in March this year at considerable savings of $3.5K/person return to what they are ask...

pretty I would not say, it is certainly unique with that nose and those wings...wow, they are something!
Ugly, heck no.....aerodynamics not withstanding, the only thing I would change is the nose, just cannot quite get used to it...yet...but as my a.net name implies, I do like it for sure!!!

hhhmmmm...this is a tricky one and really depends, as the subject title, on someone's definition of a visit. People have asked me in the past, have you been to such and such, I would say yes, but only in the airport in transit. I guess technically, being in an airport constitutes visiting that count...

It has to be the L1011 for me. I flew in it as a teenager back in 1973. I've also flown in the DC10 and MD11 in the 80's and 90's, never was a big fan of the DC10, always thought the rear engine looked like an after thought placement.

I had one flight on the MD11 back in, I think, '93 on THAI from Melbourne to Bangkok on the way to Frankfurt. I was in C and it was a very comfortable experience. I do remember how quiet it was up front!
From Bangkok to Frankfurt however was in a 747-400, also with THAI.

Well, we buy long haul business class as we are fortunate enough to be able to do so, sometimes we upgrade to first as well. We never bother when flying within the US or even sometimes across the Atlantic, but flying to Asia/Australia via the Pacific, always.
