Correction to the first post: The service will not operate during October but is planned to start on Dec. 20 from Taos to both Dallas and Austin. The operation will be sold as "Taos Air". Lots of snow already coming this week, should be a good ski season.

Re: Ultimate Air Shuttle to serve Taos, New Mexico

Ozark II did a DO-328 charter to DFW during the 2000/2001 ski season, two days per week. They seemed to manage the 5500 ft runway ok at the time. Ozark II then became Great Plains Airlines. Taos had commuter service to ABQ and DEN by Mesa and several other commuters from the 70's til about 2005.

OO/AA* is all CR7 equipment at PHX except for the PHX-SGU route which is CRJ. Wonder if that has anything to do with the market being dropped. Wont be dropped til June however, maybe a seasonal thing as SGU gets pretty toasty in the summer.

Just checked Boutique's website. They show DEN-Telluride (TEX) starting this Wed., 8/29, two per day from DEN. Don't think this made the OAG yet. This was a Great Lakes route casualty last Spring. As for AS* pulling back at ABQ, UA* was only running one ABQ-SFO. When AS* came, UA* pumped it up to three per day. So we've been enjoying four nonstops per day to SFO and now when AS* goes, it will probably go back to one. ABQ-SNA had never been done before however WN has since added two per week. ...
