It’s a claustrophobic mess at baggage claim with the temporary walls up. Plus, I ripped a wheel off my rollaboard on a loose automatic door threshold transition the last time I went through. Just my experience...security was fast, though.

I live in Beaufort, and I fly CHS moreso now than SAV because the prices are competitively lower. However, parking is expensive in CHS and travel time is 75+ mins. SAV is 45 and if I time it right, I can make it in 35 minutes without traffic. They have a $5 parking lot. Granted, I fly AS nonstop CHS...

Two of them were the last 757's built. Surely they have a value for further use... The last 757 built, LN 1050, is an ex-Shanghai aircraft now operating with Delta as ship 6823. The last two 757's built, LN 1049/1050, were both for FM and are both with DL now. MF had the 3rd/4th to last 757's built...

Many of the first retired non-ER went to MZJ, including my namesake airplane which has been parted out already. The 75s that were parted out are also there en masse and the 5500 series PMNW birds.

Unless I lived on island, I’d use SAV. Getting on or off the island is a nightmare. I live in Beaufort and can be door to door at SAV in 37 minutes. It would take me a solid 50 to get to HHH, even though it’s closer.

Too early to say. Would say no decision would be made until Wednesday at the earliest when a tighter projection cone is available. ILM and to a lesser extent, MYR, are in the crosshairs as of right now. Largest major airport that may be affected by lots of rain and some wind would probably be BWI, but I don't have a map in front of me as I play armchair meteorologist today (:

I think they consider scrapped as anything not properly wrapped for storage. My namesake aircraft was stored and wrapped and is now parted out, but not torn up yet.

The 744, DC95, and 757 fleets are there, including the 757 that were not painted into DL livery. Someone correct me but I also think the cargo 742s are there as well. I remember seeing pics of the DC93 and DC94 flwet without engines at SFB. No idea about M80s. Where did the just retired M90 and 320s...

AA gave up the US gates - 12 & 14 to consolidate at 4, 6, and 8?
DL had 11, 13, and 15, and took over 14. Who uses 12? SY?

B6 has 7 & 9?
UA has 3 & 5?
AC has 10

Gate 1 isn't used because security extends through it, right? How about Gate 2?

What gate is F9 getting?

DL has labels inside the bins for F and Y+ that say they are reserved for those passengers only. They have had them for at least a year. They also tell you that you will not be getting bin space in the final boarding group and offer to gate check it, but that defeats the purpose.

DL flies the 763 from ATL to - LAX, SFO, SAN, SEA, SLC, HNL and a few others. SEA often gets 76W to move birds from TATL to TPAC.
