If this would be reliably the case ... I would be the first to book Etihad.
And for the balance, I once flew in a completely empty business class section on a BA A380 from LHR to LAX. And as this was only the 3rd business class flight in my life, I did pay upfront the fee to get a window seat :-)

As many commented, LH has a long history with Boeing and not least with the 737. So to say this order cannot happen is proven wrong by history. But this order will only happen, when the current issue with the MAX is understood and solved.
