Re: Irish 5/19: Summer is a comin' in!

Great flight ATH-DUB with Aegean last night. Loads around 75%. Tourist season has kicked off the majority were Irish tourists followed by Greeks and around 40 passengers connecting from wider A3 network. Fantastic crew as usual and plenty of drinks runs and a decent meal. Lots of info from the flig...

Re: Irish 5/19: Summer is a comin' in!

I had the opportunity to fly on Stobart Air's E190 on Tuesday from London City back to Dublin. The EI-GHJ is the former Virgin Australia aircraft with 2:1 business seating at the front. I just didn't think it was worth the €85 upgrade fee for such a short hop when there is no lounge access at City....

Note sure why this is being made into an issue, wasn't it always the case? Later Heathrow flight will disrupt business: O’Dea BUSINESS is facing disruption, it was claimed this week, after Aer Lingus confirmed a change to its Shannon-Heathrow service for the summer season. I appreciate you comments, Tony. I think the main point you are referring to is directly related to the city centre. It must be acknowledged, however, that poor planning decisions made in the Limerick area have meant that much of the commercial and economic activity occurs on the outskirts of the ci...

Hi Abrelosojos,

Thanks for a very enjoyable read, as always! I visited Laos once a few years ago to do the 'Gibbon Experience' - a truly unforgettable time. Laos Airlines seems to be quite a decent airline (can't make out that carrot smiley face myself though!).

Thanks again,

Aidan
