Re: Any new info on MyAviation.net?

Its a bit different than that, but I understand your point. I could imagine value though in a "sister site":where any number of ideas that have been proposed for A.net might be judiciously tried, to see how much promise they might have, without disrupting A.net. And besides it wasn't all &...

Re: Decline in traffic to the site...

Its certainly true A.net came up first, and dominated, in all sorts of google search results at one time, not really so long ago. I believe A.net earned that result organically, for lack of a better word. It was quite popular and the "go to" site for a number of things.. as most of us know...

Re: Progress: Case for a Dedicated Helicopter / VTOL Forum

I have to believe a helicopter forum would do moderately well here. There are enough people in the industry or otherwise interested. The best images are here, so some traffic already comes through, but very few people are going to start a random helicopter thread in the civil aviation forum.

Totally understood regarding the priorities, but interested in knowing if the possible return of MyAv would include the old images or not. If that item is determined or still possible.

Thx, TT

Well, wouldn't that be something if MyAviation.net could return?
I too would be quite interested in retrieving some images that were lost elsewhere, and would be willing to pay to have that happen. .

Yes, but this is simply not happening every time a low plane goes by. Theres 7 million people in NYC.. plenty of them didn't give 911 too much thought to begin with much less these days.
