Jump to postTheir T-33 chase plane took off from BFI and heading towards PAE!
Jump to postI don’t think they just put the wingtips down with an intent to not fly.
Jump to postLooks like a United 777 diverted to MKE this morning.

For a E-4 replacement, I think the 747-8i would be the best candidate. Four engines would be best for the mission it is designed for. Also, should have aerial refueling as in a doomsday scenario, I would think you want the option to be aloft for as long as possible and relying on 4 engines.
Jump to postThey will be leaving around 2100 Saturday night on another 777-200. The Brewers are leaving Sunday morning on a 767 around 1030.
Jump to postSo the AN124 went to SFO. Any ideas now about what it was for? Somebody (Stephen Trimble?) on twitter mentioned that the An-225 was hired to airlift relief supplies from SFO to Guam - perhaps that report was a mistake, and it is an An-124? The An-225 arrived at OAK last night and is currently flyin...

So now we know (before we have a Boeing-blessed payload-range chart): 9000+ nm still air distance is too big a bite for even a mostly empty 78X. Why are you surprised the aircraft didn't fly a 9000+nm leg when Boeing's stated range for the aircraft is 6430 nm ? Because it's a ferry flight and the a...
Jump to postIf I am hypothetically flying myself, then based on what I should do, I should get a 773ER instead of an A346. Because even though I love the A343 and A346: 1. They are gas guzzlers 2. They have 4 engines, which has its pros but also has increased maintenance costs 3. The Trent 500's are out of pro...
Jump to postWell, you guys answered the question I've had the past few hours. Around 6pm EDT, I had Flightradar24 up, and noticed that an A330-900 going MID-TLS was going to be over my house (I'm in Miami) at FL390 (in front of it at FL350 was an AA A321 flying CUN-CLT). The 330Neo was leaving a nice contrail!...
Jump to postNo date set as of yet. The date most likely won't come until a week or so before but Airbus did say the first flight should be by mid-2018.
Jump to postGreat to still see them coming to Milwaukee!
