Dangerous Landings - Courchevel Altiport

This is a complete 40 minute flight flying the TBM 930 from Nice Côte d'Azur (LFMN) to Courchevel (LFLJ) in the French Alps. This 164nm flight follows an RNAV SID departure. We fly over the entire Provence-Côte d'Azur-Alpes region before following a VFR pattern into the Altiport. Multiple exterior c...

Re: MS Flight Simulator: Buy now or wait for a sale?

I don’t think FS2020 will go on sale. For $60 standard edition right out of the box, you can’t beat GA flying with the level of scenery detail. I use ForeFlight in combination with the sim to map out both IFR and VFR flight plans. Here is my latest video flying the TBM 930 in conjunction with ForeFl...

Re: Microsoft Flight Simulator coming to PC and Xbox

Have had a good go at the new Flight Simulator and the scenery is fantastic. Default aircraft still not study level, but better aircraft are in the pipeline. The ability to explore the entire world is mind boggling. Just posted my first video using the new platform - Dangerous Landings- Lukla, Nepal...

Re: Microsoft Flight Simulator coming to PC and Xbox

This version is undoubtedly spectacular in every aspect I can think of. The flight dynamics of the aircraft will be the final test for everyone and likely the icing on the cake based on what I’ve read for the majority of the planes. For you diehard simmers, I’m working on a Microsoft Flight Simulato...

RE: Lancaster Bomber Memorial Video

I have had a couple of requests for this video on a CD due to the large file size. Just e-mail me with your mailing address and I would be happy to drop a copy in the mail.

RE: Lancaster Bomber Memorial Video

Thank you WarRI1 and Baroque. Yes Baroque, in retrospect, showing a few of those crews a little longer may drive home the point even more. I was trying to give the impression of numerous crews lost by flashing them by rapidly. Holding and zooming slowly would certainly be effective.

Lancaster Bomber Memorial Video

In remembrance of the aircrews who flew the Lancaster Bomber, I produced this short video with original photos and video segments as a tribute.
