Landing at the wrong airport seems to be getting more common which is odd since commercial flights are on IFR until they can establish visual with the airport. I think it was last year a Ryan 738 bound for Derry landed at Ballykelly Ireland and he was IFR too. Got to laugh though...............

Isn't the Trilander tail heavy?so this would therefore be more so being that it doesn't have the extra weight on the wings to help offset some of the tail. Back when the RAF Herc(C130) was just the H model I pulled one off in a shorter distance than a Cessna 152 got in the air and since the aircraft featured in the video was a DHC8 and was designed for short rough fields I am not that surprised about its short take off.

I think the tri jets had their lives shortened because there is access to an engine from inside which would mean even if there is no access to the flightdeck the plane can still be messed with by a wouldbe trouble making pax

I guess that means Gordon Brown owns the Royal Flight huh! since he can say when the Royal family can or can't use them, but loans them out on Gordon business( he wasn't even elected)
