Re: American Eagle News and Discussion Thread

With DL losing the 22 YX 170s to Eagle, what will DL do to make up for the loss? Losing 22 frames seems pretty significant. Will Endeavour or Skywest pick up some of the lost flying that the Republic 170s once covered?

Re: Nashville Aviation Thread - 2020

I have a trip booked on April 12. Allegiant MDT-BNA-MDT. No plans to cancel. I had to postpone the trip once already due to a death in the family. I'm not letting this nonsense interfere. Worst case, if Allegiant cancels the flight, I'm prepared to drive down. Should make it in 12 hours. But, hopefu...

I'm hoping that they announce MDT-MIA. The Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area is the remaining piece of the Florida pie that isn't served from MDT. Plus, F9's recent buildup at MIA makes sense for that route too.

Maybe the retiring Dash 8s can be converted over to freighters. They'd be perfect for services with FedEx and UPS. Or perhaps the U.S. Army/Air Force can use them as a replacement transport aircraft since the Short 330 Sherpas have been retired.
