I'm still suprised that AA doesn't try PSE or BQN from MIA. I would think there would be enough traffic for at least an E175. I don't know if those markets are high passenger baggage flights. Aerolíneas desperately needs newer airplanes to expand long haul and compete. Depending mostly on domestic flights is not where the money is; they have a small fleet of wide bodies with diverse cabin interiors. Job cuts in the US Airline industry will happen after September 2020...sad to say but cuts will be in the thousands; unless the government bails out the airlines again. I think there will be another bail out, especially during elections and right before the holidays.

Spirit and Southwest are not going away...Alaska is a strong carrier; well known brand in the Pacific NW. I do wonder about Hawaiian's future; too small and running out of markets to expand. jetBlue's long awaited next step is about to be revealed. Who will be the next airline to fail or go away???

the 767 number will start decreasing too! those rust buckets are operational nightmares and the interiors very shabby. Too bad they are not scheduled to go away at a faster pace...looks like after the end of this summer around (6) frames will be retired, more in 2019!

Don't be surprised when the low season starts in September, IB will reduce service. Most airlines dramatically reduce service during the peak of the hurricane season. Hope IB will maintain permanent service.

heard about widebody adjustments...SJU loses A330 service around late March when SJU-PHL switches to 763 in April. (1) SJU-MIA-SJU will become a 763 in April and starting in June 1 additional 763 to MIA for a total of (2) 763s to MIA.
