F35 Carrier Crash in South China Sea

Story is from yesterday and linked below. Note the picture of the recovered British F35B in the article which I hadn't seen below. http://www.navytimes.com/news/your-navy/2022/01/25/f-35-that-crashed-into-the-carrier-carl-vinsons-deck-fell-into-the-south-china-sea/ My first reaction to the fact that...

I don't know anyone who "wants" an EV. Around here, it's the politicians that want to force them on the people. You must drive a "Stellantis"! Honestly man, how could anyone say this, much less an actual conglomerate? You really think the explosion in EV sales and the massive in...

I prefer the excitement of Amtrak - the clackety-lack of 19th Century rail ties, the uncertainty that your train will show up on time, or show up at all. Then there's the question of arriving on time, will I make my meeting? Ultimately though, the kernel of thought "will this train derail and k...

This comment veers off topic but still relates, to me at least, to this issue we face. A country that starts slowly and methodically taking land that doesn't belong to it by force, or outright invades an entire country, presents the oldest lesson in European history. It's plain as day the US doesn't...
