Today Spirit so far cancelled 51% of their planned flights with another 11% being delayed. These guys are so lucky this did not happen to them in the EU as they would get bankrupt paying out compensations to the passengers.

Can you be more specific of how you end up in such an ops meltdown? This affects by far too much of the network and flights. People saying their staff at MCO walked out and there is very little info from the airline itself. This kind of ops meltdown seems much more like someone did not pay the bills...

I've run into a problem then as the aircraft I was looking for was in the 10-50 seat count range. 70 seats I believe would be too much but as you say the airfare would be too high then making the route unprofitable. Honestly, AUS is ready for more international routes, but .... I relocated here recently and I can tell you that getting here from Europe is not a great experience currently. Your sole 2 options are virtually LH and BA. Both options have their quirks and are priced way above flying into DWF or IAH. ...

Aeroflot : Premium carrier - top of the segment with higher quality service, higher fares
Rossiya: Middle of the market - reasonable prices and quality. Scheduled service but also large charter service
Pobeda: Low cost carrier - lowest fares on the market

Rossiya is apparently short of releasing a new livery, which will be used post merger with Orenair and Donavia. And just about on time, as the current one would look awfull on the ex-Transaero 747s. Most likely this is not it, just one of the concepts, but what do you think? Pretty good looking IMHO...

Negative - that aircraft just did not make it into the paintshop yet. This will be done once some heavy maintenance will be scheduled and then afterwards it will get into the full livery
