Is stacking exposures (at least for light trails, if not other purposes) now allowed? A recently accepted photo with clear signs of stacking is leading me to ask. Last time this came up there was community support but a change was not approved.

It's clearly right in frame based on what I understand the standards here to be. Personally, I'd crop it so that the distance from the nose to the edge of the frame and tail come to edge of the frame were equal (and still show the h-stab), but that's not acceptable either...

Photos are definitely taken at the maximum quality, they're exported from lightroom reduced to the max size for a.net although I'm thinking it might be the pixels per inch setting which is currently at 240 Pixels per inch doesn't matter unless you're physically printing photos. Something like the iPhone 11 Pro would be more than capable of getting shots accepted here. Those of us that use cheap equipment (anyone else have 50+ photos on here taken with a $150 point-and-shoot?) have acquired a bag of tricks that make it feasible.

Not high in frame. Agree with low contrast, would bring the blacks and mids down. Don't think it's overexposed, leave the highlights where they are. The "203" on the nose is the only spot that looks soft, most everything else looks normal.

Softness may be acceptable. It is true that there are images in the DB with the tail cropped, but most of them are where the nose gear is at the bottom of the frame. Doesn't seem to be the case here. IMO, the crop of the tip of the tail could have been avoided. Here's one of mine with the tail crop...
