RE: GRU Airport Will Have Rail Link With Downtown SP

I once read that it would connect both airports, Congonhas to Garulhos. Lots of plans. It's been an election year here so we'll see. What's cool is the new monorail being built. That would be pretty nice to Garulhos. Right now Airport Bus Service is roughly U$17 one way between <acronym title="Sao P...

I hate this for Memphis. And I'm tired of the whiners, who likely don't even fly. I remember as a kid, in the 70s, when Delta controlled all of concourse A with dozens of flights. Then, Delta pulled back when Republic was formed from the merger of Southern and North Central. Later, Northwest came in...

Correct me if I'm wrong but as one who lives here I don't think most Paulistanos recognize Viracopos as Sao Paulo. I rarely hear anything but "Campinas" not "Viracopos". Having said that, Campinas is often referred to as Sao Paulo's third airport. Garulhos is not in Sao Paulo but in Garulhos and han...

It seems the US economy is forcing Americans, the world, to live within our means. After deregulation, so many airlines came on the scene. Legacy airlines added new routes. Hubs popped up everywhere. High airfares have always been a source of contention for Memphians. This is an ongoing discussion in the city and her news-outlets. I'm in Sao Paulo. At Congonhas, the domestic airport, they're all pretty much the same. However, TAM's A320 in their new livery is awesome. At Garulhos, I like the Emirates 777! Not too many 747s anymore but BA's 747-400 is one amazing plane!
