I had one of my friends criticized but not pulled off a flight for same issue. She was wearing sandals. It's a rule... not really reasonable in 2017. But if UAL wants to attract millennials and Gen Zs, UA needs to learn the rules of that generation, and follow them. People 17-35 are very important....

Or leave Founders and go down Airfield drive just under the final approach path; don't know if officers will prevent you from stopping, but it'll be even closer than Amon Carter Blvd since it's on the airport property.
