Can you hear ATC on channel 9 on transatlantic flights too? I'm traveling from FRA-IAD next friday and nothing would make me more happier than having atc all the way...

UA 777 / 767 PTV

Hi guys,

Does United have PTV's on both planes. I am pretty sure that 777 has them, but what about 767? the 777 flight is from FRA-IAD and the 767 flight is IAD-Dusseldorf.

Finnair bought Kar-Air years back and in the deal they got 2 A300-B4's. They were all the time used in charter flights until they were replaced by 752's

Well this is good news as I believe my flight is leaving from Pier E (Northwest). And even if the flight leaves some other Pier, I'm still lucky enough to see some action in Schiphol.

Hi

I'm going to fly from HEL-AMS-IAD on saturday. There is a good 2 hours to wait in AMS so where should I head for some spotting. Should I (is it even possible to) leave the transit-area. I read that there is a Panorama Terrace but it is not open for public anymore.

Finnair is reducing its flights to JFK to 6 per week instead of 7 and increasing flights to BKK by 1 per week. This could be because of the Hong Kong route which is via BKK.

If you hate flying then take the direct flight, but if u like planes and airports then you might want to take the risk for some possible baggageproblems. If I would be traveling always alone I would change airline all the time.

I know that AF operates both 777 and 340-300 from CDG-IAD. They have (or had in somepoint) 2 daily flights to IAD both operated with different plane.

Can´t complain! I've done roundtrips from HEL to IAD with AF and never had any problems. OK once was the flight from CDG to IAD delayed because of technical reason but as I said, can't complain. Because of the delay I had an extra 2 hours to watch the action in CDG. Luggageproblems have only occured...

I believe, that after the trouble he had with his own company made him look elsewhere. The new board of director also grounded him as a pilot of Lauda Air and in my opinion that is the reason why we will see him running Jaguar boss in the next 3 years.

Can't tell you anything about German courts, but what I know is that they have had to think this peeing-incident throughly before making this decision. Otherwise there would have been an appeal of the verdict to the next level of German court.
