I really can’t see how it gets ranked so high. Inconvenient location (for local travelers). Parking/rental cars are so far away they add 15-20 mins of travel time to get to the terminal. Peoria, Illinois had DEN service for well over 20 years on either Ozark, CO or UA. I guess its too close to ORD for UA and F9 is doing BMI again so that takes care of Central Illinois for Frontier. With 70% +/- of the US population living east of the Mississippi River and another 20% living on the west coast we will most likely see DN's new airline flying mainly in these regions. If he is smart, which he is, Big 4 hubs and existing ULCC focus cities will be minimized or avoided.
