Both Frontier and Southwest are also projecting adding flights in/out of DEN. Southwest has indicated they may want all of the new gates (16) that are being built on the C concourse. F9 has expressed interest in adding 3-5 additional gates on A concourse. United has committed to the new gates for th...Jump to post
You are correct I believe. Key LIme Air (dba Denver Air Connection) recently received code share approval with United at DEN. Key Lime has been running the Dornier and Metros between these two cities for several years on an independent basis. Rumor has it Key Lime is being more aggressive now in se...Jump to post
UA RIW-SHR? Also a lot more capacity on the EWR- SLC route from DL and UA. Anything to do with the new terminal? DEN-RIW-SHR. It’s a SkyWest milk run like DEN-PUB-LBL, DEN-HYS-SLN. I believe it’s actually Denver Air Connection on the Dornier 328 jets. You are correct I believe. Key LIme Air (dba De...Jump to post
Does anyone know how the flights from BMI are performing? I hope DEN and MCO are doing well. Do not know about MCO, but DEN is doing "reasonably" well with load factors in the 80s. I was on the BMI-DEN flight last week and and there were not a lot of empty seats. Frontier is using the 320...Jump to post
Holy Toledo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am not a fan of the current airport director, Kim Day. As a number of posters have mentioned, she and her staff have not focused on the concourse needs and updates until recently. These upgrades are way over due. Maybe the fiasco of the Great Hall project will ultimately be her undoing, we will se...Jump to post
Do hope this gets off the ground without any major snafus.
After learning more about Rocky Mountain Arsenal, i believe the city shouldve used that land for DIA and that wouldve saved them construction on the runways that jetted in to RMA as well as not having to worry so much about water contamination as a result of RMA. The two north south runways at Stap...Jump to post
I have a feeling that this is a classic F9 dartboard add that will disappear after the winter season but the demand for FAR-PHX is huge during the winter so it could work for the snowbird season American has said they will match the ULCC fares when they impact one of their hubs. Whenever F9 announc...Jump to post
2x weekly with an occasional 3rd weekly flight during peak weeks. F9's south Florida strategy puzzles me... MIA, major MIA, scale back MIA, add FLL, now back to MIA growth... The Frontier route planners, if you can call them that, are a category to themselves. But with that said, one can begin to s...Jump to post
This might be a struggle. Allegiant flies FAR-IWA daily during the peak season. And, both F9 and G4 are notorious for withdrawing from markets at the drop of a hat, especially once the revenue subsidy runs out. I was disappointed that DL discontinued SLC-FAR service, and FAR-ATL "seasonal"...Jump to post

Didn’t you just answer this question in the post above this?
How about MCO to South America? GRU, GIG, BSB, SCL, EZE. Connect into the JetSmart network that Indigo is building in Chile. :checkmark: :checkmark: :checkmark: Based on some of the more recent F9 forays into the Caribbean, It is potentially feasible that some of the major resort islands currently ...Jump to post
Frontier to add new, less than daily, flights from Cincinnati to the following cities beginning in October and November: FLL, MIA, MSY, Sarasota Florida. Frontier 14 Sarasota = SRQ...just so you never do that again   Thanks, I couldn't remember the 3 letter code when I drafted the thread....Jump to post
What's up with 4B (Boutique Air) doing ALS-CVN? Appears they need a link between their DEN and DFW hubs however ALS has been running with PC-12's and CVN with BE-350's. And the flights are all point to point, i.e. they are not thru flights DEN-CVN or ALS-DFW however the schedules are set up where o...Jump to post
Does anyone know how many different destinations (domestic & intl) Denver will serve this summer? DEN has to have one of the biggest (if not the biggest) domestic networks in the U.S. . . Good question. I know in recent years Denver has on and off beaten ATL in number of domestic destinations s...Jump to post
What’s the story with Frontier at Sarasota SRQ, I knew that Atlanta and Philadelphia were going to be seasonal, but I don’t see any available flights in the fall. Will it only be Cleveland now? And the few connections they offer thru CLE that are super expensive and crazy hours. Do they have plans ...Jump to post
MIA Northwest Arkansas (XNA) E175 Dec. 18 Daily Year-round And XNA-PHL was just announced in the last month or two. AA is really trying to tighten its (already strong) grip on XNA. Though, IMHO, MIA was a bit more geographically diverse than adding PHL what with the abundance of north/northeastern ...Jump to post
Hello, I was browsing around today and found that Frontier this summer will be flying MCI-PHL 3x weekly CLE-SFO 2x weekly MEM-PHL 2x weekly DFW-BKG 2x weekly This one is really weird, is it supposed to be year round? Also, no "focus city" on each end, so I wonder how it will work. AA coul...Jump to post

A far cry from circa 50 years ago, when Farmington was a busy connection point for the original Frontier. 11 daily Convair 580 flights to 7 different airports, including nonstops to Albuquerque and Grand Junction, and flights with stops to Denver and Phoenix. The Convair 580 was a great plane. Did ...Jump to post
Farmington began its' downward slide when Mesa/Midwest pulled out of the city. At one time there were multiple flights a day to DEN on Mesa with the Mighty Beech (1900). I believe Mesa at one time had a relationship with the community college (San Juan ?) in Farmington that enhanced the airport. The...Jump to post
Flying pencil returns. Oddly I have a nostalgic fondness(perhaps misguided) for the Metroliner. Denver Air Connection will start DEN-AIA 2x daily using the Metro 23 aircraft as a part of being awarded the EAS contract there. Alliance is being split off from CDR for the 1st time in literally decades...Jump to post
Per their website looks to start 7/2 to DEN. Maybe some other new routes coming soon. There are more route announcements coming, you can bet on that. The first of the new fleet additions (for this year +16) arrived in TPA this past week to be prepped prior to flying F9 routes. I would look for a nu...Jump to post
I am pulling for HA to try DEN-HNL at some point when they have the equipment to do it. Even though UA is entrenched in this market, I believe the DEN metroplex would support a HA weekly or twice weekly flight to HNL. United's fares are pretty expensive; and HA's entry would bring them down for sure...Jump to post
I really can’t see how it gets ranked so high. Inconvenient location (for local travelers). Parking/rental cars are so far away they add 15-20 mins of travel time to get to the terminal. Crowded trains to the concourses. Nasty, stinky, noisy restrooms with broken locks and 1-2” gaps in the privacy ...Jump to post
Disappointing that F9 will not re-start the DSM-SFO pairing for the summer season. Their number crunchers obviously could not make it work, so its gone. I wouldn't be surprised if UA might not give it a go at some point. The catch though would be the UA fares would be through the roof :dollarsign: :...Jump to post
But RSW-LAX would be welcome by this Lee County resident. Does anyone know how many pax travel this roiute? [quote="UWPAviation”] I just think there is too much competition here. Thats why I get what the expansion in an airport like ORD. Peoria, Illinois had DEN service for well over 20 years on either Ozark, CO or UA. I guess its too close to ORD for UA and F9 is doing BMI again so that takes care of Central Illinois for Frontier. I wish UA would take another look at it. Your observation about Peoria and UA is probably correct to ...Jump to post
Who knows, maybe Frontier is seriously considering acquiring the A220. Not totally out of reason.
What are the population numbers for the greater Mobile area?
Awesome for northeast Wisconsin. I think it would be more beneficial if they did MCO rather then DEN. Wisconsiners love there Florida. But I get it, its their hub. Not the first time they flew GRB, hopefully this one lasts. If the GRB-DEN response is decent, I would not count out an Orlando announc...Jump to post
