Arrived from DFW on a remote spot and noticed the A340 with a ton of Fire Rescue trucks and a sea of foam underneath the aircraft. I could only see the aircraft from the rear, but the right side cockpit look pretty charred from my vantage point. It is also in the STAR ALLIANCE livery.

Given the distance, I don't think CM can have a 1945 departure south and make the turn in time to hit the morning bank.

Perhaps an 1130am departure south and a return to the same bank the next day.

What are the names (if any) of Low Cost Carriers flying in Africa? I am doing some research on LCC growth around the world, but have very little information on LCCs on the African Continent. The Brussels Airports site only lists the charter carriers, but not there actual schedules. As you said, schedules vary wildly and are difficult to get.
