Re: Geneva Airport - Long Haul Concourse

Here's a picture I took in December of the construction works of the new Terminal, called "Aile Est" (translates into "East Wing"). In front of it, you can see the "temporary" building for long haul (square white building), that will eventually be ripped apart. https://...

Re: What are the busiest airports per capita?

NRN might be up there since technically it's called Airport Weeze serving the town of Weeze (10.611 inhabitants). Last year it served 1.909.704 passengers, that's almost 180 times the town population. Of course the airport is generally known as Dusseldorf Weeze, but that's not it's official name an...

Re: What are the busiest airports per capita?

I think there's no way to calculate this. There are so many parameters, such as how many people actually stay in the city and how many transit to another destination. GVA has indeed 15 million pax a year, most have GVA as a final destination. But you can't compare it to its 200'000 inhabitants, beca...

Eurowings CRJ Phase Out?

Hi all,

I can't seem to find the anwser to my question. Does anyone know what's planned with the CRJ900 of the Eurowings Fleet? It was once said they would have an all A320 fleet. Seems a bit too big for certai routes in my opinion..

Thanks for your answers! Best regards,
Philippe

The answer is pretty easy: it's a logo recognized in most parts of the world, and the signification to most people is quality and punctuality. We Swiss are proud of this, and airlines will of course use this image to promote theirs. Seems fair. Our flag is almost like a brand!

Here's a quick question: -The place where debris were supposedly seen is 6000km away from the loss of contact point. At that point, it had already flow about 700km, so roughly 6700km were flown. Considering the Kuala-Beijing is about 4400km away, could it be that the plane's engines simply flamed out?
