Has the status of QFs desert 747s changed? Previous photos have shown them stored with coverings and engines. However I note the recent VCV photo showing QF 747s in the scrapping/ parts line up.

What will happen the JASDF Boeing 747s now the 777s have been delivered? I imagine they have comparatively low hours compared to 747s of a similar age. Could they continue to fly for a new operator?

Are the aircraft storage aprons in American boneyard s paved? In the photos it appears the aircraft are stored on the desert sands. Given the weight of a Boeing 747 this seems improbable.

According to Flightradar24 , a Transaero Boeing 747 is enroute to Dublin. The flight number is FR4283 - a Ryanair flight? Is this a glitch on FR24 or is there some confusion with the Reg EI-XLN?
