Shouldn't have conflicting information as only only one flight with that number would have departed. You might have had a different airframe arriving as the 928. 24th March is that departure date from the US or UK? I'll try and check it for you.

Have you tried contacting The Qantas Source website? They may not have information going back this far but worth a try perhaps.

QF9 we might find on the LHR -LGW movements and archives, you'd need to check the 9th as it records arrivals.

For me with LHR a short distance away I don't get the lowest cost carriers generally speaking anyway but it depends. Whilst I'm a OW FF (not BA), it suits me to use them ..but I (used to) go to Berlin for example 4-5 times a year and they are really the only option in a day. But for AMS I'll 9/10 ti...

I hate it when LH sell connections of 40-45 mins in FRA. They assume there are no queues in security.. every flight arrives at a terminal and not remote stand and you don't have to transfer from one part of the airport to another. ...oh and their flight is on time !
