I saw on a documentary that a B-2 crew flew a 48 hour mission to bomb Iraq. Are there crew-rest areas on the B2? Does anyone know how a crew could have possibly sat for that long if there wasn't one?

What Happens If You Fail Carrier Qualifications?

I was watching a documentary on carrier pilots (Toughest Carrier Jobs - I think) and one of the pilots said that many pilots failed carrier qualificaitons, and this was after several years of flight school. What happends to those pilots then? Are they assigned to non-carrier flights?

Why do they need all the decoys? I would think the main ship has plenty of countermeasures. I would think any threat to one of the decoys could also target the main Marine One.

I was more surprised watching the show about Marine One. I had no idea there were so many helicopters that flew with the President. I thought there was only 1 Marine One helicopter in the fleet. It seems like there's always 1 or 3 decoys, 2 support copters and several CH63 craft.

I was surprised to see Obama flying in a chartered AA MD80 to Washington. It seems that he had a nicer plane during the campaign. I wonder who pays for the trip to Washington? Does he get federal money during the transition for stuff like that?

I love the people who think that Columbus is a blue-collar town. The vast majority of jobs in Columbus are for Fortune 500 companies. If you look at any demographic data you'll see that Columbus is very much a white collar town.

It's not bad. Anyone who says otherwise is being a wine snob. I've had far worse wines for over $50.00 and I've had far better for around $9.00. Most of the price of wine has to do with marketing, not quality.

I've had people talk on their cell phones in the theater on more than one occasion. Equally bad is the person texting on his phone during the movie. The light from the texting is almost as distracting as the phone.

Luckily I managed to get $10.00 fares to SAN for a quick vacation for my wife and myself. I checked 5 minutes later and the fare had gone up to $50.00 a ticket.
