Hi scbriml
It's not you as it is occurring on upload for those two files

Hello Toering
The vintage and creative queues are screened quicker than the regular queue as they are shorter in addition to images which qualify for priority screening. You are able to check what images qualify for priority in our acceptance guide.

Paul
Hi
It's in the database as a new registration. The screening log showed no one had depriorized it. It may have been a system error you saw.
Merry Christmas
Hi
Appears the image was added and builder field on its own is not usually a rejection.

Hi
No pictures from Associated Press or anywhere else, you have to take the pictures you upload.
Hi All
Images have started to index and for each of you who shared the ID numbers you should be able to view them now.
Regards
Paul
Hi All
Thanks for the ID numbers. Unfortunately this is taking longer than expected to resolve. If your images do not appear we shall offer priority uploads and apologies for the inconvenience.

Paul
Hi All
Some accepted images are not appearing in the DB. We are looking into the issue and hope to have it resolved shortly.
Please leave an ID number if you have been affected.

Hi Wiggy
You had some nice weather and hope to see some shots
Hi
It's still allowed thought the cost is closer to $1,240 an hour plus $80 landing fee. Chief pilot is still there and Brett is also very good.

Hi Hadleigh In the morning Shep's Mound would be best as the light is behind you and most of the traffic for 16L/34R will taxi past very close. Depending on which runways are in use in the afternoon and the type of shot you would like either the beach carpark or staff carpark are good vantage points...

Thanks for giving the crew time to have a look.
They believe one shot is fine and the other suffers more from contrast than an overexposed sky. A reupload will be asked for.

Paul
Hi All
We undertook some server maintenance and as you noted it is an indexing issue. Please allow a few hours for the indexing to complete and all your images will again display. You can still see them in the accepted tab in your photo corner.

Paul
Hello B77L

Hi DutchSpotter1
The motive appears different
Regards
Hi Dutchspotter1
They're screened individually though the team are able to decide how many they view i.e. 5, 10, 20 or more. How many are chosen is a batch.
Regards
Paul
Hi Dutchspotter1
No, we've not changed our policy. Nor would we and these were screened same batch so an error was made. We have asked the photographer to correct and reupload.

Paul
Hello N94504 It has always been defined as show days as long as we've had the acceptance guide. That said, new registrations and liveries arriving early for shows qualify for those reasons and there have been times when some arrivals from the major manufacturer's or military formations have been giv...

Hello Mark Thank you for your feedback. The degree of discretion depends on the newsworthy nature of the shot and amount of photographer's uploading it. There are too many variables to list and as for RIAT and Singapore we would be happy to add if community wants. The above text is now live in the a...

Jump to postHello Dutchspotter1
There is enough aviation motive without any aircraft for acceptance. You noted runways are acceptable and some of the more remote ones have very little aviation motive but they have good database value and are acceptable.

Hello Cary Thank you for your feedback and input. Your point on screener discretion is noted and to be fair we fully understand. The example you highlight is valid and we shall do our best to avoid such situations moving forward. https://www.airliners.net/photo-upload/upload The above update from la...

Can you please send a couple of these via email so we can take a look?

Hello NoTaxOnRotax Understand your point and the shot you refer to the motive works well. In previous years we have accepted similar shots where the cherry blossoms take more of the frame than the aircraft. In relation to your shots and their motive I do understand your concerns. That said, I do see...

Hello ASOSpotter It is unfortunate your image is being misused and as CPD noted you should deal with LinkedIn. We also advise use of a watermark to prevent this from happening. The owners do not hold copyright of your images. You do and we are not able to file a complaint with LinkedIn on your behal...
Jump to postHello Rainer
To clarify, I mean the priority screening team has discretion to add an image with decals if they believe it warrants acceptance due to news coverage or similar.
Regards
Paul
Hello Rainer
Understand they're quite large and the priority team do have screener discretion if required.
Regards
Paul
Hello Rainer
It's a decal and only full livery changes receive priority
Regards
Paul
Hi Rainer
Unfortunately the double rule only allows 1 image for the same side. It does appear to be a harsh rejection but that is how the rules have been for a very long time. That said, as the motives are vastly different I am of the opinion it should not be double.

Paul
Hi
The whole frame looks slightly OS. It's great quality and if you'd like to try again with a little less USM I'm sure it would be an IA
Regards
Hello
The screener suggested a smaller size such as 1024. It is also right in frame which explains distance. Soft is subjective as it may depend on the screener but a little more USM would help.
If you are able to correct please try again and happy to look at it if you'd like
Regards
Hi
Check against the horizontals to and it was also dirty, oversharpened with low contrast
Regards
Hi
You can submit a correct as historical is defined as vintage and by date.
