Just read that Swiss police will now buy antilaser eyewear with emergency services to follow so why not make all windshields laserproof to protect flight crews?
The technology must exist because if it can be used on eyeware why not windshields?

Has anyone ever seen ALT 1A / ALT1B / ALT2A / ALT2B in any AFM, FCTM, QRH?
It was the BEA that lexcially subdivided and dissected these submodes.
I believe that only ALT flashes up on the ECAM.

Takes forever to get rolling whlist pax play musical chairs.
Spoke with both AF and BA cabin crew and they give it the thumbs down.
