Re: X Plane ...impressive video!

Having come from FSX, X-Plane is a HUGE jump. Almost in every single way, IMO. In X-Plane, I personally fly the Zibo 737 (honestly, not sure it gets much better in terms of aircraft available) along with the Flight Factor 757 and 767. All three are great aircraft to fly. Never used P3D personally, ...

I'm not trying to convince you that XP11 is better than P3D. Both are great sim. It's just that Xplane fits my expectations better. If for you P3D is better, then it's great.

Re: X Plane ...impressive video!

You ever notice X-Plane fanboys always have to try to convince everyone that it's better, always talking down on P3D and what not. You don't really see that the other way around. If you go onto an X-plane Facebook group, they are talking about P3D more than X-Plane, and they occasionally come on th...

Re: Air France will place an order at Le Bourget - Anne Rigail, CEO

But nor can a 50/70 seat RJ be replaced by a 100+ (116 in "typical seating" per Airbus website) seat A221 either. Just because Airbus has a nice new hammer, not everything is a nail. Certainly the aging AF A319s are an obvious target, but the HOP! fleet? nah. You're right but putting a on...

Re: Air France will place an order at Le Bourget - Anne Rigail, CEO

I would love the see the A220-100/300 in AF colours but do the aircraft offer capacity that matches AF's needs? Of course they do. Do you really think that the good idea for AF will be to replace CRJ/ERJ by a MAX10 or an A321NEO ? Lots of domestics routes can't handle large aircrafts such as CFR-LY...

On the Falcon 50/900 (and probably the 7X as well), there is a procedure for "ferrying" the aircraft with one engine INOP.
It can be usefull when you operate the aircraft "out of nowhere" with maintenance center far away.
